For items published within the last year, Danbury residents may suggest an item for the library to purchase. Please note that the decision to purchase a library item is based on the Library’s materials selection policy.
We will make every effort to get the item to you as quickly as we can, however it may take some time before the item is available. If your suggested item is purchased, we will place a hold on it and call or email you to know when it is ready for pickup. All items are held for three (3) days.
If we decide not to purchase the item, we may try to get a copy for you via inter-library loan from another library. If we do not purchase the item and it is not available through inter-library loan, we will notify you.
