Upcycling Jewelry: From Broken to Beautiful Program

Give your old jewelry new life!

In this hands-on workshop, participants are encouraged to bring sentimental, broken, or outdated costume jewelry to repair or transform into fresh, wearable pieces. The instructor will also provide a selection of vintage and costume jewelry to work with, offering plenty of inspiration and materials.

Each participant will receive a beading board to take home, making it easy to continue creating beyond the class.

This program is intended for adults and teens age 13+.

This workshop is part of the Danbury Library’s Sustainable Living Initiative, showing how creative upcycling can be both fun and eco-friendly. Learn the techniques at the library, and take them with you to practice sustainable living for life.
