Laptop ConneCT establishes long-term lending of laptops and related accessories to eligible Connecticut residents through local public libraries. The Laptop ConneCT Program is administered by the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) in partnership with the Connecticut State Library. This program is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act.
Who is Eligible?
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid Danbury library card*
- Participate in a qualifying state or federal assistance program

Qualifying Assistance Programs
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP)
- Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
- Medicare
- HUSKY Health (Medicaid/The Children’s Health Insurance Program)
How to Participate
Book an appointment to meet in person with head librarian Amanda Gilbertie. Please bring your valid Danbury Library card and your proof of enrollment in one of the above programs with you to your appointment.
