Explore Connecticut’s Notable Trees

Come and learn about the Notable Trees project, its history, and what makes a tree notable in our state. The lecture will include pictures and information about various notable trees.

Frank Kaputa is the co-chair of Connecticut’s Notable Trees project. Frank has been involved with the project since 2005, and has been crucial to all aspects of the project, including measuring and photographing trees, public outreach, and the database and website.
