Danbury Library Seed Library

What is it?

The Danbury Library’s Seed Library is a take-only collection of free vegetable, flower, and herb garden seeds! The seeds have been generously donated by the UConn Extension Master Gardener Program.

How does it work?

  • Pick out up to 5 seed packet/envelopes per day
  • Let us know which seeds you selected in the Seed Journal
  • Check the Garden Binder for planting directions (take a picture for later!)
  • Take home, plant, and enjoy!

Where is it?

You can find the seed library on the Main Floor near the information desk and card catalog computer. The drawers are labeled and organized alphabetically.

This season’s seeds are all spoken for! Check back in later when we get our next delivery.
