Create your own butterfly wind mobile using simple origami and recycled materials. Participants will fold colorful paper butterflies and attach them to strings with small bells, all connected to a repurposed handle to create a light, hanging mobile. To celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month, we are exploring the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. Origami serves as a tool for promoting mindfulness and relieving stress.
This hands-on craft blends creativity and sustainability, resulting in a decorative piece that gently moves and softly chimes.
Participants are welcome to make more than one as supplies allow.
Supplies are available while they last. Registration is recommended for program updates.
