Educator Card Application

Danbury Educator cards are available for free to all current Danbury teachers in public and private Danbury schools. Danbury preschool teachers are also eligible.

Non-Danbury residents who teach in a Danbury school can apply for a library card that grants full access to all library resources and services that residents enjoy. Please note that non-resident educator cards are for local use at Danbury Library and may not be used at other libraries.

Once your application is completed and processed, you will be e-mailed your library card number and will be able to request materials and access online resources right away. For in-person applications or to pick up a physical card, photo identification and proof of employment are required.
