Give your favorite book a second life with a dazzling new spine!
Using rhinestones and provided tools in the library’s Maker Lab, participants will transform their own book into a sparkling, upcycled creation. The program is open to ages 10 and up, with young teens encouraged to attend with an adult. Keep in mind that this is a time and focus intensive activity.
Bring your own book (BYOB)—all rhinestones, jewels, and tools will be provided in the Maker Space.
This workshop is part of the Danbury Library’s Sustainable Living Initiative, showing how creative upcycling can be both fun and eco-friendly. Learn the techniques at the library, and take them with you to practice sustainable living for life.
