A style of painting that is characteristically Japanese, Sumi-E has been practiced for well over a thousand years.
With a traditional ink stone, using the fewest possible brush strokes to create a scene or object, young artists will learn to appreciate the subtlety of this art form.
Bamboo will be used as the still-life reference.
