Intro to Blender 3D

3D computer graphics are used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D printing, interactive 3D applications, engineering design, artificial intelligence, and much more.

You can think of 3D modeling as drawing on the computer in 3 dimensions. Through this course, participants will be introduced to 3D modeling and animation. By the end of the course, students will be capable of doing a simple model and animation of their own.

What you need:

Equipment needs for the course are just a computer and a 3 button (two buttons with a mouse wheel) mouse. The software needed is Blender 3D, which is completely free. Blender runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux, so as long as you have a full operating system, it should work fine.

Students should be computer literate and capable of sitting through an hour-long class. This workshop is for ages 12-18.

FREE. Registration Required. Please indicate whether you will join us in person or virtually.
