The MakerLab at the Danbury Library presents this special workshop on learning Blender, which is a 3D computer graphics software used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D printing, interactive 3D applications engineering design, artificial intelligence, and much more.
You can think of 3D modeling as drawing on the computer in 3 dimensions. Through this class, you will be introduced to 3D modeling and animation.
By the end of the session, you will be capable of doing a simple model and animation of your own!
Equipment Needed
- Laptop computer and a 3 button (two buttons with a mouse wheel) mouse
- Blender 3D Software installed (completely free and runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux)
For teens ages 12-18. Participants should be confident using a computer and able to sit through the hour long class. Registration required.
