Join us to celebrate Diwali, one of India’s biggest and most important holidays of the year.
Diwali, or Dipawali, is named for the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness.
Come to the library and make your own lotus lantern, inspired by India’s national flower, and learn about this beautiful festival of lights.
No registration required. Ages 7+ ( or younger with guardian supervision). While supplies last.
