Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Inti and the Moon Trio

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the Danbury Library! We will be celebrating the rich heritage of Hispanic culture with Inti and the Moon.

Inti and the Moon is an Andean Latin Fusion band founded in 2010 in New York City. Inti, meaning “Sun” in the Kichwa language, is spoken in the indigenous communities of Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.

The group focuses on composing and performing instrumental and vocal pieces based on the musical forms from the Andean region of South America flavored with jazz harmonies & Cuban-Caribbean groove.

The Trio is led by guitarist/composer Geovanni “Geo” Suquillo on guitar, Andean flutes and Charango; Carmen Arrojo on percussion and vocals & Muammer Aryar on Spanish guitar.

Please Note: This is a virtual program via ZOOM. Participants will receive a link to the meeting via email once they have registered.
