Hangul Alphabet

Did you know that the Korean (Hangul) alphabet is only 578 years old! It is possibly one of the world’s youngest alphabets.

In this program, participants will learn about the origin of the hangul alphabet and some hangul alphabet sounds and practice through alphabet bingo: Korean version! Towards the end, participants will create their bookmarks with their name in Korean.

Korean Numbers

Unlike most other languages, the Korean language has two number systems. One is called the Native Korean number system, and the other is called the Sino-Korean number system.

Together, we’ll explore these number systems through stories and activities. At the end, we’ll make a lucky pouch that you can take home!
