Author Wilhelmine Bellevue aka Willow B. invites children ages 9 and up to hear the story of an immigrant girl who arrives in her new school from Haiti. She doesn’t look, dress, speak or even eat like anyone else in her new school. She wonders how she will ever find acceptance.
