Pokemon Go! Family Fun Day

Saturday, August 27th

10:00am - 2:00pm

Library and Main St

Join us at the Danbury Library as we partner with the Danbury Museum hosting a Pokémon GO! Family Fun Day! Enjoy a Pokémon catching extravaganza on Saturday, August 27, while learning more about Danbury's historic Main Street between the Danbury Library and the Danbury Museum!

Be sure to grab your POKEMON PASSPORT available at the Ask Me! and Junior Department Desks! The Danbury Library will have their own Pokémon Professor at the main floor ASK ME desk to answer all your Pokémon GO! questions and will give you helpful tips for the game!

The Junior Department will have Pokémon related fun activities as well as use of a charging station for your mobile device! Our Teen Volunteers will be there to assist and help in any way they can. Many of the Pokestops you'll be visiting are Museum in the Street signs that cover aspects of Danbury's history. As you search for lure modules and rare Pokémon, take a moment to read about our city's past. At the Museum in Streets stops, write down a fun fact that you learned from the sign as well as any Pokémon you might have captured nearby. At the end of your adventure, turn in your Pokémon Passport at the Danbury Library's Ask ME! Desk or at the Danbury Museum to be entered into a drawing for a Family Fun Pack!

Please remember to follow these simple Safety Tips! - ALWAYS be aware of your surroundings. - Be ALERT and STAY on sidewalks! - Be respectful of other people and private property when catching Pokemons! Have Fun!
