Interested in stop motion animation? Join local filmmaker and the Danbury Library's "Animator"-in-Residence, Jhonny Parks as he teaches kids ages 11 to 18 the basics of getting started in stop motion animation.
Participants will learn the basics of the animation process, as well as getting hands on experience while having the chance to animate their own creation. By the end of the course, students will understand how to bring a basic character drawing to life through methods of stop motion animation.
Class 1 – Intro to Stop Motion
Students will learn:
- A basic understanding of what art of stop motion animation is.
- What a finished project looks like being shown other artists films.
Must attend every workshop!
