Coding for Kids with Scratch

Learn how to program your own video game using Scratch! Scratch is an easy-to-learn programming language that can be used to make games and animated videos. Kids aged 8-14 are invited to learn how to program a simple game and try games that other people have made.

Scratch was created by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab, and is available for free at It includes an online community where creators can share projects and see the code that powers each project.
