Got a question? Now you can text us too!
In addition to reaching us in person, by phone, email, IM, Facebook, and Twitter, you can now text us with your questions and feedback!
Texting us works best if you have a question that requires only a brief answer.
Danbury Library does not charge for the texting service, but your own cell phone service provider may charge you standard text messaging rates for both incoming and outgoing text messages. By texting us, you give us permission to respond to you via text message in return. Danbury Library is not responsible for any charges incurred to you by your cell phone service provider.
Text to Danbury Library at 265010, and in the body of the message, you must start with "imdanburylibrary:" (don't forget the colon), then type your question to us and hit send. Texting only works when the library is open. If we are not available to answer your question via text, you will be instantly notified in a return text.
